Job Description One of the country’s top General Contractors is looking for a SITE SAFETY OFFICER to join their team. This position is with their federal division. Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety programs to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide safety training for employees on proper procedures and protocols.
- Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and prevent future incidents.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, training, and incidents
Job Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience with federal projects
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices
- EM-385 Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- This is a traveling position
