Position Overview: As a Commercial Lines Insurance Producer, you will play a pivotal role in the team, ensuring the accuracy of policy updates, facilitating effective communication between stakeholders, and contributing to the growth of the commercial insurance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities: - Policy Management: Accurately input policy updates and account information.
- Client Communication: Engage with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters to address policy and coverage-related inquiries.
- Marketing & Quoting: Lead the marketing and quoting process for new business and account renewals.
- Renewal Management: Identify, compile, and oversee information regarding account renewals.
- Effective Communication: Maintain consistent and timely communication with agency clients and carrier representatives.
- Business Development: Contribute to new business acquisition.
Qualifications: - Licensing: Hold a valid Property & Casualty Insurance license.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an independent agency or retail brokerage.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating.
- Carrier Interaction: Proven experience working with various carriers and engaging directly with their underwriters.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in using insurance software, including Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360.
- Microsoft Office: Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Existing Book of Business: Possession of an existing book of business is a significant advantage.
