Job Description
The Cashier II is responsible for accurately processing merchandise transactions, maintaining the balance of the cash drawer, and maintaining their assigned work locations, while providing excellent customer service.
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $15.00 to $15.25, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Job Responsibilities
Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
•Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
•Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits
•Adheres to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures
•Understand and be knowledgeable of the merchandise for sale to assist customers and accurately process transactions
•Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned for unit based on operating hours
•Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift.
•Ensure product in location is stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as needed.
•Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications
•Previous customer service experience preferred
•Previous cash handling experience preferred
•Basic math & counting skills required
•Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
•Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25lb
•Must follow required dress code as assigned
•Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location
•Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
