Position Details:

Join the nation’s leading cardiac specialists on Hartford Hospital’s Cardiac Surgery team! We're currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support patient care from admission to discharge, managing pre-operative and post-operative cases, conducting assessments, documenting progress, and actively participating in interdisciplinary rounds. This position entails handling emergency situations and caring for patients with various cardiac conditions. Practice at the top of your license in high acuity cases alongside our esteemed cardiac specialists at Hartford Hospital, where you'll have unparalleled access to top-tier resources, education, and training.

 

Role : Open to Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners

Location :  79 Jefferson Street, Hartford, 06102

Setting : Inpatient, cardiac surgery

Schedule: Full-time 3x13s, rotating. Premium differentials offered .

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensure : Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
  • Training : Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience : New graduates welcome to apply

Preferred:

    • 2+ years’ experience as a PA/APRN in cardiac/critical care setting
