Marriage and Family Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist to join our mental health care team. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to individuals and families seeking therapy services. Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address a wide range of mental health and relationship issues
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s goals and needs
  • Help clients develop healthy coping mechanisms and problem-solving skills
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions to enhance clients’ support systems
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to gather relevant information and establish a strong therapeutic relationship with clients
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure holistic care for clients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of marriage and family therapy
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • LMFT, LCHMC, LCSW, preferred.
  • LCAS is a plus.
  • Valid state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Experience in trauma, couples therapy, or process addiction required
  • A minimum of 5 years of continuous clinical experience in providing therapy services to individuals, couples, and families
  • Strong knowledge of various therapeutic approaches and interventions for relationship and mental health issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Empathy and the ability to establish a rapport with a diverse population
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • An ethical and professional approach to your work
