AZ. Full Time, Part Time, PRN shifts and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available! Pay rates range from $20.00 - $27.50 per hour based on shift, site needs, certification level, experience and whether you're an Advanced EMT or an EMT. NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.
Position Requirements for Paramedics and EMT's: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Current AZ state certification as a Paramedic or EMT (NREMT recommended)
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paramedic/EMT, preferably in a correctional or similar healthcare setting, but is not required.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a high stress environment
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
