Responsibilities:
- Evaluate Patients: Assess patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans to enhance mobility, manage pain, and prevent future injuries.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and injury prevention strategies.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Professional Development: Commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
- Experience: Experience in an outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred.
