Responsibilities of the Network & Systems Administrator:

• Manage and support IT environment onsite and remotely.
• Provide positive end-user experiences by meeting technical needs.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Manage Active Directory (AD) and cloud platforms like Azure and/or AWS.
• Provide occasional afterhours and weekend support.
• Support backup systems and Windows, Linux, and server environments.
• Maintain standard operating procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Procure hardware for the IT department and manage vulnerability platforms.
• Assist with Help Desk tickets.

Preferred Experience of the Network & Systems Administrator:

• Thorough knowledge of IT industry, particularly Active Directory, Office365, Microsoft infrastructure, and VMware.
• Experience with backup systems like Veeam and Zerto, and tools like Rapid7 InsightVM & InsightIDR.
• Advanced network setup and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of Windows server systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in small IT environments (
• Understanding of risk management.
• Proficiency in virtualization technology.

Bonus Experience of the Network & Systems Administrator:

• Certifications in MCP, MCSE, MCITP, Net+, Sec+, CySA+, CCNA, etc.
• Experience working in the financial or professional services industry.
