As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join their team.
Position Overview: The Electrical Engineer (PE) will play a pivotal role in leading electrical design efforts, managing project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from concept through completion. This position requires a highly skilled professional with a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, strong technical expertise, and a proven track record of project management success. The Electrical Engineer will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to the growth and success of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the electrical design process for a variety of projects, including power distribution systems, lighting design, fire alarm systems, and renewable energy projects.
  • Develop electrical design concepts, drawings, and specifications in accordance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct technical reviews, calculations, and analyses to ensure the accuracy and reliability of electrical designs.
  • Oversee the production of construction documents, drawings, and specifications, and provide support during the construction phase.
  • Mentor and support junior staff members, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering design and project management.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM PowerTools.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
