Position Overview: The Electrical Engineer (PE) will play a pivotal role in leading electrical design efforts, managing project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from concept through completion. This position requires a highly skilled professional with a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, strong technical expertise, and a proven track record of project management success. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical design process for a variety of projects, including power distribution systems, lighting design, fire alarm systems, and renewable energy projects.
- Develop electrical design concepts, drawings, and specifications in accordance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct technical reviews, calculations, and analyses to ensure the accuracy and reliability of electrical designs.
- Oversee the production of construction documents, drawings, and specifications, and provide support during the construction phase.
- Mentor and support junior staff members, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering design and project management.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM PowerTools.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
