You must possess good working knowledge of schematics, logic drawings, location drawings, vendor drawings along with manuals for piping and instrument diagrams. You must have the ability to utilize all the test equipment associated with this craft and have pride in your work. This job description is not meant to be all-inclusive of job duties, and will include other reasonable work expectations as listed below: Essential Job Functions:
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electronic and pneumatic equipment.
- Utilize all available resources (drawings, manuals) in problem solving.
- Good knowledge of electronics (solid state).
- Ability to troubleshoot controls to Printed Circuit Board (PCB) level.
- Good understanding of test equipment used in the trade.
- Basic knowledge of computers and programmable logic controllers.
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electronic and pneumatic equipment.
- Utilize all available resources (drawings, manuals) in problem solving.
- Regular attendance and diligent work habits required.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work.
- Troubleshoot printed circuit boards down to component level.
Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma/GED
- Technical School degree or certification in instrumentation field or closely related field or completed apprenticeship program in the instrumentation field.
Preferred Qualifications - 5-10 years' related instrumentation experience.
- License or Certificate Requirements:
- Valid Drivers’ License
- Passed or be able to pass the Skilled Trades Testing/EEI MASS testing on site.
