Senior Employment/Labor Litigation Attorney

Salary : 200-275K

Location : Los Angeles, CA 90024 (Hybrid - Remote Flexibility)

Bonus : 2% earnings on cases that settle; also, quarterly performance bonuses (based on company, team, and individual performance - could be up to 30%)

Job Description:

Insight Global’s client is a busy and quickly growing boutique civil litigation practice focusing on helping employees in the workplace. They have a team-oriented environment and are looking for an Associate Attorney and Senior Attorney. Each Attorney at the firm has 2 Paralegals and 1 Legal Assistant supporting then. The right candidate can handle a busy workload with multiple cases at once and wants to grow within the firm. The firm is organized in a structured manner that allows ideas, tactics, and developments to be shared and exchanged. These Attorneys will be advocating for clients' rights and interests.

Senior Attorney Qualifications:

  • Education: CA Bar License.
  • Experience: minimum of 8 years of employment and/or class action litigation (examples: PAGA, sexual harassment, wage disputes, race discrimination, severance negotiation, family/medical leave).
  • Experience managing Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or related personnel highly preferred.
  • Strong legal drafting and research skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex legal concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Plusses:

  • Familiar with LexisNexis or similar legal research tools.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (strongly preferred, but not required).

D2D:

  • Negotiate on behalf of clients in legal proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
  • Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal matters.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings (trial attorneys will go to court - these attorneys likely won't).
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting clients' interests.
