Must Haves

  • Fellowship in Body (Abdomen or Pelvis)
  • We WILL accept those who have a different fellowship, but have completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency

  • Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree

Day to Day

This is a growth position for a Diagnostic Radiologist who focuses on body imaging. This providers jurisdiction covers care in the following sectors: CT, Chest, Abdomen & Pelvis, Cancer, Disease, Trauma, MRI body, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Upper GI, Head-to-Toe X-ray, and Ultrasound. The main modalities of this position are CT and X-ray. This position DOES NOT require mammography, procedure work, or neurology. While onsite, The Diagnostic radiologist will also be responsible for teaching and training residents of the program.

On a day to day this provider will be responsible for reading a variety of diagnostic radiology scans for interpretation. Each day they will be assigned to a different area and will rotate between these modalities on a day-to-day basis, so everyday can look a little different. Typically volume of scans will be relative to the following (keep in mind this will be one modality per day): X-ray =200, ultrasound=90, MRI or CT= 40.

The Schedule for this position will be Monday -Friday 5 days a week. Two days a week will be remote and three days will be in office. Typical office hours are 8AM-4/5PM. Some evening are required 4 times through the year with hours from 4PM-9PM. Evening shift can be completed remotely. Weekend call from 8AM-4PM is required on a rotating basis. No overnight or overnight on call hours are required. Schedules will be released a month in advance and night shift requirements will be released on a yearly basis.
