Insight Global is looking for a Chemical Lab Technician for a client in Sugar Land, Tx. This person will be joining the Corrosion team within the R&D organization and will be working with a team of 8 others including other technicians and Chemists. This person will be responsible for assisting with up to 6 or 7 test methods involving chemicals such as H2S and working with laboratory equipment including working with a torque wrench. This role will be assisting with performing corrosion evaluations, following SOPs and utilizing equipment such as bubble cells, static claves, rotating cage auto claves & other necessary equipment. This individual will working on multiple projects at once and be responsible for following all formal procedures (SOPs). This position will be onsite M-F and may offer some overtime.

Required Skills & Experience
1 year of lab experience or within a plant
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to think independently and take imitative
HS Diploma
Proficient with Microsoft Products: Office, Word, Excel
Mechanical, Maintenance or Manufacturing Experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
2-4 years of experience working in a lab
Associates degree
Knowledge of what SOPs are
High pressure lab experience
High Temperature lab experience
Oil and Gas experience
Chemical experience
Corrosion experience
Pressurized Equipment
