Mechanical Engineer Opportunity!

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Take new product ideas and product support projects from concept to production by managing engineering project activities and priorities while coordinating with sales, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality.
  • Use engineering principles, proprietary design tools, and internal design criteria to develop new product concepts or enhanced features for existing products
  • Create 3-D models, assemblies, and 2-D prints as needed to validate concepts, detail designs, and communicate design intent.
  • Specify and supervise product validation testing required to validate new concepts and designs including documenting test results of standardized tests.
  • Travel up to 30% in support of client projects
Mechanical Engineer Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline
  • 2-6 years’ experience working with mechanical systems; a preference will be given to candidate with experience in bulk material handling equipment
  • Experience with CAD systems-namely SOLIDWORKS
  • Preferred experience with basic manufacturing technologies and processes
  • Familiar with engineering standards and work processes
