Job Description Our client is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Team Lead to join their Boston office. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to step into a leadership role on exciting, yet complex projects locally, nationally and overseas!
Responsibilities - Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Science & Technology, University, Mixed-Use and more!
- Participate in recruiting efforts across the firm
- Provide mentoring and direction to junior team members
- Incorporate sustainable design methods in buildings and prepare green rating system documentation
- Design mechanical systems including heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls
- Maintain strong client relations as it pertains to project delivery and repeat business
Qualifications - Professional Engineering Degree in Engineering required from an accredited four-year university
- P.E. License is Required
- 15+ years of experience with HVAC Design/Engineering
- LEED AP BD+C preferred
- Familiarity with BIM
- Ability to monitor and manage project budgets
- Business development capabilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge in sustainable design
- Project Management and supervisor experience preferred
