Position Overview: We are looking to add a Senior Civil Engineer to our expanding Engineering team. The Senior Civil Engineer will play a crucial role in providing engineering design and leadership for complex land development projects, with a particular focus on heavy civil work, hydraulics, and stormwater management.
Key Responsibilities: - Utilize advanced Civil Engineering design skills to prepare design plans, construction documents, reports, and other project-related documentation.
- Conduct detailed hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for a range of water and wastewater projects.
- Perform roadway and drainage analysis/design, focusing on stormwater management and site development.
- Oversee residential, municipal, and commercial site development projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in Civil Engineering with a focus on heavy civil work, hydraulics, hydrology, site development/design, and stormwater management.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, attention to detail, and a proven problem-solving aptitude.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other relevant engineering design tools.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred; however, a strong Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) with the ability to obtain their P.E. within 12 months will be considered.
