Job Description
The Material Coordinator is responsible for the accuracy of inventory of products, materials, and raw ingredients. They will ensure that physical inventory matches system inventory and will be key in identifying and reviewing inventory discrepancies. The role involves working closely with the Purchasing Manager to monitor high-value and fast-moving items, notifying the Purchasing and Warehouse Managers of any discrepancies, and collaborating with the Production Department to ensure raw materials are properly consumed in Work Orders using FIFO. The coordinator will investigate and find root causes when inventory issues are found.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Elk Grove, California.
Work Environment
The schedule can change week to week by an hour or so, and it is posted on Thursdays for the following week. Typical shifts include 4am-2:30pm, 2pm-12:30am 10 pm - 6:30 am. The role involves continual walking and standing on hard surfaces, driving heavy equipment, bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
