Physical Therapist Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our outpatient PT office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or other physical ailments, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Therapist Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans
  • Implement and monitor treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
  • Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and proper body mechanics
  • Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical skills and contribute to practice growth
Physical Therapist Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a current state license to practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred (new-grads welcome)
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate with colleagues
  • Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records systems
