Operate forklifts to transport materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse or production facility.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of materials.
Move pallets and other materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and production lines.
Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure optimal performance and report any malfunctions.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Keep accurate records of material movements, inventory levels, and completed tasks.
Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
Support production and shipping operations by ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid forklift operator certification.
Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial setting.
Ability to operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in forklift operation.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
