Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 (Payable after 90 days of employment)
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am)
Shift Differential: 15%
Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join our world-class job shop, equipped with advanced heavy machining capabilities. This role involves producing precision-machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC Mill (HNK Mill). The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining high standards for quality and safety, keeping accurate records, and ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities - Program, set up, and operate milling machines/horizontal boring mills
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Create and set up fixtures, troubleshoot, and run machines independently
- Understand machining techniques and apply knowledge of metals, alloys, and materials
- Review and prioritize work efficiently
- Safely operate equipment and tools, including hoists and overhead cranes
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders accurately
- Maintain accurate records of production and machine maintenance
- Work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Overtime work may be required based on project demands
Skills and Experience - 5+ years of experience with milling machines or horizontal boring mills (job shop environment preferred)
- Experience with MasterCam is a plus
- Proficient in machine setup, fixture creation, and operating large machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Knowledge of metals and materials used in machining
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work without supervision
- Experience with crane rigging and hoist operation is beneficial
