Insight Global is looking for a Secret Senior Network Engineer local to San Diego, CA. This person will be fully onsite and responsible for maintaining the existing network infrastructure, implementing changes as needed, and configuring enhancements based on customer requirements. It is expected that this person be comfortable working with numerous technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience migrating a network from Cisco to Palo Alto and be well versed in Palo Alto technologies. They will have knowledge of cyber security to ensure compliance with industry standards and working knowledge of programming and scripting languages.

Skills and Requirements
* Bachelors of Science in Engineering or a related field with five years of relevant experience working on DoD networks (Additionally years of experience may be acceptable in lieu of experience)
* Experience with network configuration, architecture, and maintenance
* Experience with configuration and management of Palo Alto network technologies
* Active certification such as Sec+, CASP, or CISSP
* Professional networking certification such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
Understanding of network device configuration and protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF * Masters of Science in Engineering or related field
* Familiarity with configuring and troubleshooting in both Windows and Linux environments
* Familiarity with RMF and system hardening
Experience migrating network systems from Cisco to Palo Alto null
