Job Description MEP/HVAC Project Engineer needed for a fast-growing company with exceptional training and development opportunities. Be home with family nightly. Minimum 3 years of experience preferred in complex mechanical and plumping commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain Project Drawings, Procurement, RFI and submittal logs
- Assemble, review, distribute equipment, materials and method submittals
- Assist Project Manager with pricing materials and changes orders estimates
- Compose RFI's to improve project profitability
- Collect and review time, material and work orders
- Review outstanding change orders
- Work with subcontractors
- Assist Foreman with schedule building, daily communication and procuring materials and equipment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and ExcelExperience with Bluebeam, Adobe editing, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is a plus.
Must be have a strong work ethic and good communication skills.
Experience working for a Mechanical contractor is helpful.
