Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and more. Responsibilities: - Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and job specifications.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other construction team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
- Perform site preparation tasks including grading, trenching, and excavating.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and job progress.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
