Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level electro-mechanical assembler to assist in building large transformers. Your responsibilities will include wiring, installing circuit breakers, contactors, sheet metal, and circuit boards. You need to be familiar with wiring larger cables (2 AWG) and capable of lifting around 25 lbs with the help of a harness. You will follow work assignments, directions, instructions, and the Work Order Schedule provided by the Production Lead. You will also need to review Assembly Instructions, Engineering Drawings, or Notes on the BOM (where available) and use hand crimpers to create discrete wires and harnesses. Your role will involve assembling some electronic subassemblies to install harnesses, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and ensuring that efficiency and quality standards are met regularly. Adherence to all safety requirements and policies is mandatory.
Hard Skills
Familiarity with wire gauges (AWG)
Knowledge of terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors used for wire harness fabrication
Ability to use hand crimpers
Experience with assembling electronic subassemblies
