This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are licensed Professional Land Surveyors in the State of Minnesota, with the potential to obtain licensure in North Dakota and Wisconsin within 18 months of employment. If you have a strong understanding of Trimble Equipment and Software, proficiency in Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation, and multi-discipline experience in public infrastructure markets, this position is ideal for you.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage land surveys for various projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilize Trimble Equipment and Software to collect and process survey data.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide survey support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare accurate survey maps, plats, and legal descriptions.
- Oversee and manage survey crews, ensuring efficient workflow and project completion.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and other surveying tasks as required.
- Analyze survey data and provide technical guidance and recommendations.
- Prepare and review survey reports, field notes, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
Skills:
- Professional Land Surveyor License in the State of Minnesota.
- Ability to obtain licensure in North Dakota and Wisconsin within 18 months of employment.
- Proficiency in Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
- Strong understanding of public infrastructure markets and projects.
- Previous project management experience.
- Leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
