Responsibilities of the Power Platform Developer II
Design/develop/deploy business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Possess good UI design skills and create visually appealing interfaces that are easy to use and navigate
Configure and customize data models, forms, workflows, and reports to meet business needs
Create/maintain dashboards, including designing visuals and metrics, data visualization, and analytics to monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement
Develop/maintain SQL Server databases and T-SQL queries for data storage, retrieval, and manipulation
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Power Platform applications and SQL Server
Identify/develop, and deploy reports in Power BI & integrate Power BI Reports and dashboards into PowerApps
Gather and document user requirements and identify new features; translate business/user requirements into application design. Documentation will require a great level of detail so that other staff members may follow along, even with little technical background
Serve as a liaison to other agency departments and outside entities in a positive manner; able to effectively communicate and work with a large cross-section of stakeholders
Participate in database design to support application development projects
Analyze and troubleshoot query performance and take corrective actions to solve issues in real-time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
Create, test, and debug complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application development
Participate in code reviews and tech design review
Preferred Qualifications of the Platform Developer
Several years of experience in developing business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Transact-SQL, and database design
Strong UI design skills and the ability to create visually appealing interfaces that are easy to use and navigate
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and testing skills
Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript or PowerShell
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
Experience with Azure DevOps
Microsoft Power Platform certification a plus!!
