A respected client of ours is actively seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for their portfolio of commercial and light industrial projects. Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Project Engineer , your duties will include:
  • Evaluating project scope by reviewing bid documents and attending pre-bid meetings.
  • Performing accurate takeoffs and estimate quantifications.
  • Requesting quotes from subcontractors and vendors as needed.
  • Selecting the most appropriate vendors and subcontractors for project needs.
  • Creating detailed project schedules for each assignment.
  • Actively participating in project meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Committing to safety and ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Maintaining effective communication with team members and trade partners.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Electrical Project Engineer position should have:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field with a proven track record.
  • Hands-on experience in the electrical field.
  • Proficiency with software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and estimating software like Accubid, Bluebeam, Conest, or McCormick.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team player mentality with a positive attitude and self-motivation.
  • A solid understanding of construction practices and methods.
