As an
Electrical Project Engineer , your duties will include:
- Evaluating project scope by reviewing bid documents and attending pre-bid meetings.
- Performing accurate takeoffs and estimate quantifications.
- Requesting quotes from subcontractors and vendors as needed.
- Selecting the most appropriate vendors and subcontractors for project needs.
- Creating detailed project schedules for each assignment.
- Actively participating in project meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Committing to safety and ensuring high-quality standards.
- Maintaining effective communication with team members and trade partners.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Electrical Project Engineer position should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field with a proven track record.
- Hands-on experience in the electrical field.
- Proficiency with software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and estimating software like Accubid, Bluebeam, Conest, or McCormick.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A team player mentality with a positive attitude and self-motivation.
- A solid understanding of construction practices and methods.
