Job Schedule: Full TimeOutstanding opportunity to join a national leader in Neurosurgery. The Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford HealthCare has a new opportunity available for a Neurosurgery Cerebrovascular Physician Assistant/APRN to join our Advanced Practice team at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, located in Bridgeport, CT.
Practice autonomously, but collaboratively with a team of attending neurosurgeons, and APPs providing advanced specialized care to neurosurgical patient’s intracranial cases, neurovascular, neurotrauma, neuro-interventional radiological cases.
This role will include coverage of both hospital and clinic patients’ weekdays.
Job details :
· Managing neurosurgical patients on the floor and ICU setting.
· Intake H&Ps, progress notes, consultations, pre- and post-operative care, and discharges.
· Providing neurosurgical clinic coverage.
· First assisting the attending neurosurgeon interventional suite and the OR.
· Shifts include 4 – 10-hour shifts M-F

Qualifications
