Job Description Job Summary: The Medicare Insurance Agent will be responsible for helping clients understand their Medicare options, recommending the best plans to meet their needs, and enrolling them in the appropriate coverage. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Medicare plans, strong customer service skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities: - Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their Medicare needs and provide expert advice on available plans (e.g., Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Part D).
- Plan Enrollment: Guide clients through the enrollment process, ensuring they understand the details and benefits of their chosen plan.
- Client Education: Educate clients on Medicare rules, regulations, and coverage options, including changes in the Medicare landscape.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Lead Generation: Actively seek out new clients through referrals, networking, and other marketing strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with state and federal regulations, including maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation.
- Market Knowledge: Stay informed about Medicare products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to provide the best service to clients.
Qualifications: - Licensing: Valid insurance license for Health and Life insurance is required.
- Experience: Prior experience in Medicare insurance sales is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Medicare plans, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans (Part D).
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to meet sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Customer Service: Strong commitment to client satisfaction and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM systems, online enrollment platforms, and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
