Our leading energy client is exclusively working with Insight Global to fill an Electrical Superintendent to their growing EPC project team. The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and engaging in the assembly, installation, and setup of electrical equipment and structures designed and manufactured by the client for the electric power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors
- Perform Lead Man duties, overseeing 3-4 foremen and their crews.
- Ensure foremen are effectively managing field tasks and completing work on time.
- Be prepared to work in the field as needed
- Maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with estimators, schedulers, project managers, and supervisors.
- Implement job planning and manage scope changes.
- Organize and procure tools, equipment, and materials.
- Manage start times, breaks, and lunch periods.
- Ensure timely return of rental equipment and tools.
- Conduct two-week look-ahead for tools and materials.
- Track labor and assist with job projections.
- Attend and provide training in safety and project management.
- Act as safety coordinators for themselves and coworkers.

Skills and Requirements
Look for a background in power generation (combined cycle, frame units, steam turbines, gas turbines, boilers)
- Experience doing construction takeoffs, pricing change orders, understanding project budget, and prioritizing day-to-day activities
- Must have a technical electrical background: Journeyman Electrician, Electrician, etc.
Must have proven experience with wiring conduit, running and routing cable trays, raceways, construction standards and codes, etc.
